Belliccia Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2008
An organic Montepulciano from Tesco. Warming plum aroma but lacks a smooth velvet roll off.
Red fruits are noted in this medium bodied wine. Acceptable but certainly not special and this
is doing nothing to promote the popularity of organic wines. Better is available for the price
range in my opinion. Montepulciano normally offers great value for money reds with huge amounts
of drinkability but this wine lacks the finesse to pull that off.
