Chateau Lestage 2004
A Cru Bourgeois costing around 8 euros from a French supermarket I was expecting more from this wine.
Merlot dominated which I wasn't expecting from a Medoc. Big flavours but not refined or smooth enough to really work well.
Perhaps a little early but there was a lack of fruityness which was replaced with a dry after taste.
